Der Omo ist einer der größten Flüsse in Äthiopien, fließt nach Süden, um im Turkanasee zu münden. Dien Menschen in dieser Region leben in großer Abhängigkeit vom Fluss, nutzen ihn zum Fischen, als Wasserquelle für ihre kleinen Felder und die Viehhaltung.
The Omo is one of the largest rivers in Ethiopia, flowing southwards to flow into Lake Turkana. The people in this region live in great dependence on the river, using it for fishing, as a source of water for their small fields and for livestock farming.
