Schön, dass ihr auf meine Seite gefunden habt. Mein Name ist Olaf. Seit vielen Jahren bin ich mit der Kamera unterwegs, habe dabei die verschiedensten Bereiche ausprobiert. Fotografie ist für mich das ideale Medium, zerbrechliche Momente des Lebens, die nur Bruchteile von Sekunden wahrnehmbar sind, einzufangen und länger sichtbar zu machen. Dabei fotografiere ich, was mir auffällt, in den Blick kommt, meine Aufmerksamkeit erregt – Gegenstände, Alltagsmomente, Lichtsituationen, Menschen allein oder im Dialog, es gibt kaum Grenzen für den richtigen Moment. Wichtig ist mir, beim Fokus auf das Kleine und Detaillierte nicht den Blick auf das Große und Ganze zu verlieren.
Für mich spannende Momente gibt es in allen Bereichen – Portraits inszeniert genauso wie im Alltäglichen, Zufälligen, Menschen in ihrem Umfeld, aber auch Natur-, Landschafts-, Natur- und Tierfotografie.
Das Besondere der jeweiligen Situation so in ein Bild umzusetzen, dass der Betrachter neben eigenen Empfindungen nachfühlen kann, was für mich das Besondere war, ist meine Herausforderung, Motivation, das, was mich in der Fotografie begeistert.
Entsprechend der Gesamtstimmung wähle ich zwischen Schwarz-Weiß- und Farbaufnahmen oder auch getönten Bildern.
I’m glad you found my page. My name is Olaf. I have been on the road with my camera for many years, trying out all kinds of different areas. For me, photography is the ideal medium to capture fragile moments of life that are only perceptible for fractions of a second and to make them visible for longer. I photograph whatever catches my eye, catches my attention – objects, everyday moments, light situations, people alone or in dialogue, there are hardly any limits to the right moment. It is important for me not to lose sight of the big picture while focusing on the small and detailed. For me, there are exciting moments in all areas – portraits arranged as well as in the everyday, the coincidental, people in their environment, but also nature, landscape, wildlife and animal photography.
To transform the special of the respective situation into a picture in such a way that the viewer, besides his own feelings, can feel what was special for me, is my challenge, motivation, what inspires me in photography.
Depending on the overall mood, I choose between black-and-white and colour photographs or even tinted pictures.
